Can I download videos?
No, currently you can't download our videos to your computer. This Is My Band's video player is designed to be used within your browser only.
How do I watch and save videos?
Watching videos on This Is My Band is very easy—just come to the site and browse around, or search for music genre's that interest you. To save videos permanently, you need to sign up as a member, and then click the "Save to Favorites" link underneath the videos you want to watch later.
Who can see my private video?
Only the people you give the real link to for the movie. Not even your friends can view it unless you give them the link.
How do I embed videos on my website or blog?
You can also get the code from the " Embeddable Player" box on the "WATCH" page or if it's your video, the code is also on the "Edit Video" page. Once you've copied the code, just paste it into your website or blog to embed it.
How do I link to videos from my website or blog?
To link to a This Is My Band video, just copy the URL from the "Video URL (Permalink):" box on the "WATCH" or if it's your video, it can also be found on the "Edit Video" page. Then paste it into your website or blog. Depending on the blogging or web design software you use, it may make the link clickable automatically. If it doesn't and you would like the link to be clickable, set it up like this:

Make sure you replace the red
x's with the view key number that will be in your URL.
What kinds of commercial uses of the This Is My Band website are prohibited, and which aren't?
We've recently updated our Terms of Service to clarify what kinds of uses of the website and the This Is My Band Embeddable Player are permitted. We don't want to discourage you from putting the occasional This Is My Band video in your blog to comment on it or show your readers a video you like, even if you have general purpose ads somewhere on your blog. We will, however, enforce our Terms of Service against, say, a website that does nothing more than aggregate a bunch of embedded This Is My Band videos and intentionally tries to generate ad revenue from them. There may be some exceptions to this rule for Record Labels, Managers, and Bands. Most likely you can place as many of our embeddable players you need to on your sites. We do however ask that you at least contact us and let us know.
