Jukin Lizards came into being in the early 1980's. Originally known as the Ripchords, they gained instant notarity with the College crowd by receiving air play on college radio stations across the United States All of their shows have been sell outs and have recieved great reviews. The four members are: Bob Lewellyn / guitar and vocals, Les Lewellyn / bass and vocals, Alex Ogburn / drums and back up vocal, and last but not least Joan Lewellyn on keyboards and back up vocals. All songs are written by Bob and Les Lewellyn and are copyrighted.
The lizards fall into the progressive rock genre rather easily. Some have labled them as "fast moving English rock" but that is for you to decide.
